Labor and Delivery Nurse ($10k Bonus)

Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as RN to be eligible.
Shift/Hours:
7a-7p, Days Vary REQUIREMENTS:
1) Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Texas 2) BLS 3) ACLS 4) NRP 5) Current PALS 6) NIHSS training or obtain within 6 months of date of hire 7) Annual fetal monitoring training or obtain within 6 months of date of hire.
8) STABLE training or obtain within 6 months of date of hire.
Must have current licensure/certifications upon hire.
New Hires will have 60 days to acquire the required Basic Life Support (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and/or any other life support certifications required for the job).
SUMMARY OF
Responsibilities:
Coordinates nursing care and patient/family education for Newborn, Adolescent, and Adult patients through the use of the nursing process; maintains positive working relationships with staff and other departments to provide optimal quality outcomes within the framework of professional nursing practice.
These responsibilities are met according to hospital policy, hospital mission statement and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing.
Demonstrates knowledge base and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patients served.
The nurse must demonstrate familiarity with the principles of growth and development throughout the life cycle.
The nurse must be able to assimilate basic knowledge and patient related data to perform a comprehensive and age appropriate assessment.
